What is Inversion Relining
An internal pipe repair method, developed especially to restore extended lengths of drain, when access is limited. Consequently, inversion Relining takes the mess and stress out of fixing pipes. Because no excavation is required, groundwork and existing structures are not disturbed.
The Inversion Relining Process
Cameras are used for correct placement of the liner and to check if the drain requires cleaning prior to the installation.
Creating a strong bond between the reline and the host pipe is essential. For this reason, alternative cutting and milling equipment may be required to prepare the drain.
Following preparation, a continuous length of resin saturated felt liner, is inverted into the pipe. Compressed air blows the liner through contours and bends within the drain. Resin fills the joints, breaks, cracks and holes, to completely seal the pipe walls. Once the resin has cured, junctions are reinstated, and the restoration is complete, ready for immediate use.
